Robin Padilla's Different Reaction on Two English Speaking PGT Contestant

Recently, Actor and Pilipinas Got Talent Judge Robin Padilla has been on the news online because of his comments towards the Korean contestant during an episode of "Pilipinas Got Talent" which was aired last Saturday. 

When Jiwan Kim entered the stage of PGT. One of the judges Vice Ganda asked Kim if he has a filipino blood, though its obvious that Kim has an Asian looks not Filipino looks, but he is more like a Korean because of his skin and small eyes just like an Oppa. He confirmed to Vice Ganda that he has no Filipino blood, both Angel and Vice greeted the Korean contestant by saying korean language like "Anyeonghaseyo!' while fans were laughing because we all know that Korean influence has been very popular in the Philippines today.

As the conversation goes by, it seems that Robin has been observing with the Korean guy. And when its his turn to start her Audition, he approached nearly to the Judges table and asked Robin to use him to participate in his magic trick, the action star declined saying that he should speak tagalog first.

Now, it seems that the Binoy is still on a hot water, especially when a netizen search another old episode of Pilipinas Got Talent, wherein Padilla was happy and easily understand the situation of the contestant which who doesn't speak Filipino properly.

Robin told Kim, "I am very sorry but you cannot use me", Robin told Kim that this is Pilipinas Got Talent, he told Kim also to speak Tagalog and that is the way that he will agree to help him for his trick.

Robin immediately asked Kim, "Magtagalog ka muna bago kita kausapin" Angel Locsin came to the rescue and offered her help in translating the words into tagalog for Kim and Robin to connect and just to ease the drama.

Many netizens reacted and slammed Robin for being racist and reacted rude to the Korean contestant.  The incident earned the ire of the viewers who took into social media about the incident.

However, a 2016 episode of PGT shows how Padilla interviewed a young female contestant from Lebanon, who doesn't know how to speak Tagalog. The contestant asked a favor from the judges and personally to Padilla if she can speak English since she cannot understand nor speak tagalog words. 

Robin gladly allowed her and doing some jokes because he was also having a difficult time to speak or translate it into english so that they can understand each other.

The post uploaded the two videos together saying that we have receipts "Resibo" to validate Robin's attitude on two different english speaking contestant.

But despite being on the controversy last weekend, the Korean guy Kim Jiwan will advance to the next round of PGT after three yeses including Padilla which gave him a yes as well. Let see if Kim Jiwan will know how to speak or learn tagalog words as soon as he gets the spotlight on the next round of PGT.
