Teen Age Boy Decided to Quit Studies to Help his Grandmother with the expenses at Home

One of the biggest lessons we are taught as children is that we need to stay in school. Having an education is the first step to finding a job and earning money. 

Without an education, many are left jobless and stuck living in poverty for the rest of their lives. Statistics show that for children who live below the poverty line, the chances of having school success is much lower than their peers.

Perhaps, the most difficult part a person have is the lack of support from their families, There should be a support system on every journey we take as a person. 

In this case, a Teen Age Boy has decided to quit Studies due to lacking of financial support for the expenses and needs at home. 

This boy needed to stop schooling and decided to drop out at school to help his grand mother with the expenses at home. 

On a Facebook post, by PRISM page. The page shared the photos of this young boy who was seen playing songs with his guitars in an under pass at Manila City Hall. 

Meet Kenneth Paras, a street performer (busker)

He is 20 years old and was a 2nd year AB Communication student at the University of Sto. Tomas before he decided to drop out of school to help his grandmother with the expenses at home. Soon after, Kenneth was able to get back on his tracks and resume schooling. He is now on his last semester.

His dad has another family while his mom died when he was still a kid, leaving him with his lola, who is their sole breadwinner at home.

He busks in order to pursue his passion for music. According to Kenneth, money is optional when it comes to busking and the money that he gets help him with the expenses in school. He was inspired with the story of a musician named Martin Riggs who introduced him to the world of busking. He usually performs along the underpass of the Manila City Hall.

Aiming success begins in us, we persevere, we don't lose hope to reach our goals. We have goals to finish and by that we will be able to gain the success we wanted for our lives. 

Thought Kenneth's journey was a bit rocky at first, he didn't mind what the situation he will go through to reach the finish line. Instead he used this challenges to inspire himself and be able to improve the situation.
