Senator Risa Hontiveros, Nasaan na ang 10.6-Bilyon na pondo ng PhilHealth na Ninakaw Diumano mula sa mga Senior Citizens?

Pribadong ospital na ang sumusuko dahil sa walang natatanggap na bayad mula sa Philippine Health Insurance Company (PhilHealth).

Nadiskubreng 10-bilyong pisong pondong pinagkait sa mga senior citizens ang hinihinalang ginamit ng Liberal Party (LP) para sa 2016 eleksyons at mga nakakaawang miyembro ng PhilHealth, sunod-sunod na problemang dumating ngunit anong ginagawa ng mga Board members ng PhilHealth para masolusyonan ito?

Noong kamakailan lamang ay ibinulgar ni Ruben Basa, ang PhilHealth Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, na ang 10-bilyong pondong inilipat ni dating Department of Health Secretary Janette Garin at dating PhilHealth President Alex Padilla na para sana sa mga senior citizens ay tila naglaho pagkat ito’y napunta sa “pagpapaunlad” ng mga health center ng DOH. 

Ngunit hinihinalaan ng Kongreso na ito’y naging pondong pang-eleksyon ng LP noong 2016. Ang tanong ay bakit walang nagsumbong sa isyu?

Ito’y dahil sa nadiskubre ng beteranong mamamahayag Jay Sonza na si Senadora Risa Hontiveros ay isang miyembro pala ng LP na naging hinihinalang benipisyaryo ng katiwalian. Lumiwanag na ring kung bakit ito’y hindi isinumbong ng PhilHealth Board pagkat ito’y nilikom ng kanyang party-list!

“SEN. RISA HONTIVEROS was part of PhilHealth Board when the P10.6B were taken out by Aquino, Garin, Abad & Padilla,” sabi nga Sonza.

At dahil dito, ‘di bale lusot na ang lahat ng katiwalian ng LP pagkat sa pagiging miyembro ni Hontiveros sa PhilHealth Board, itong lahat ay nangyari sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulo Benigno “Noynoy” Simeon Aquino III na taga-LP rin!
