LOOK: Robredo's Daughter Celebrated her 18th Birthday with a Simple Debut

Unlike on other 18th Birthday Celebration as a girl turns into a lady, there was no fancy photoshoot and extravagant dresses for the 18th Birthday of Vice President Leni Robredo's youngest daughter. Jillian Robredo, a Philippine Science High School Student and a well loved daughter to the Vice President of the Philippines. 

Jillian Robredo celebrated her debut by having dinner with her mother and elder sister Tricia Robredo.

On her facebook last February 25, Vice President Robredo shared their surprise salubong to her daughter's 18th Birthday. VP caption the post that both Jill and her were under the weather, or not feeling well. And that both of her daughters will be having exams tomorrow. 



The Vice President and her daughter raised up their phones, showing the photos of her late husband Jesse Robredo, and daughter Aika, who is studying in the United States.

Both Jill and I are feeling under the weather (apologies for looking really sick). She and Trish also have exams tomorrow. We wanted Jill to sleep early so we surprised her with flowers, balloons and a birthday cake 2 hours early. We bought her an ice cream cake this time (because she was craving for DQ yesterday) but it started melting even before we could take this shot. So we had to rush it down where it belongs -the freezer. 

If it looks like we’re endorsing a cell phone brand, that’s Jesse and Aika there. We were making sure they can join us tonight.

Last February 26 Actual Birthday of Jillian, Vice President Leni also shared that She and her two daughters went out on very quick dinner to Celebrate her birthday. 

Exam week for her so she’s celebrating her birthday with a very quick dinner with her Ate Trish and me. Can’t believe she’s 18!

But Last Saturday, March 3. Robredo also had a very simple Debut Party for her daughter held at 42SB Pool Party Palace in Quezon City. 

"Simple but fun gathering of family and her (Jillian) closest friends." as the Vice President described her daughter celebration for her 18th. 

The debutant had only two layers of cake with pink macaroons.

Unlike most debuts which are formal events, there were no high heels or gowns in sight. Guests wore either pink or white semi-formal outfits. Robredo’s second daughter Tricia, a medical school student, even opted for comfortable jeans and a blouse.

“Highlight of the evening was she got to jam with her favorite band, Moonstar 88, whose members are dear friends and supporters,” wrote Robredo
