President Duterte Had an Early Morning Surprise Visit to the Barangay People in Davao City

Davao City, Philippines - Early morning President Rodrigo Duterte made a surprise visit to Barangay Bucana early Saturday. He talked to local residents together with Special Assistant to the President Christopher Go. 

In his facebook post, Go told that the President has also gave financial help to unspecified number of residents in the Barangay, where a large number of informal settlers reside, during the 5:00 a.m. visit.



Pangulong Duterte bumalik sa Davao City at bumisita sa mga bahay bahay na parang mayor uli. Gawain na namin sa nakaraang dalawampung taon ang mag-ikot para magbigay ng payo, tulong at makihalubilo sa mga tao sa barangay. Kuha po ito kaninang 5 am sa brgy. bucana.

Go said that it was like the same as Duterte when he was the Mayor of Davao City, it was not unusual to him to visit Barangays in Davao. 

“We have been doing this during the past 20 years or so, going around to give pieces of advice, assistance and to mingle with the people,” he said.

It is very familiar to see Duterte on personally visiting his fellowmen, showing and supporting the needs of every communities and family. 

From Fire Victims, from wounded soldiers, from wake visits and more. It's always the President's initiative to talked to them and listen to their needs every time there will be a chance that the President has the time and effort to visit. 

We have never seen this having this consistent President here in the Philippine has passionate for his people and for the benefit of the country.
