During a meeting with the senators,
representatives, members of the cabinet, government officials, and foreign
dignitaries, President Rodrigo Duterte had questioned Vice President Leni
Robredo regarding her legitimacy as Vice President.

“Ano ba ang latest count nitong kay
Bongbong (Marcos) at ni ano (Robredo) […] Vice-President ba talaga ‘yan?” he
said.
Duterte issued these statements during
their discussion of the electoral recount between Robredo and former Senator
Bongbong Marcos.
In some form of retaliation, actress Agot
Isidro asserted that Robredo is more of a president than the President.

“The Vice-President acts more presidential
than the President. President ba talaga yan?” she tweeted.
Isidro had recently received attention for
her slew of comments against Duterte, this one being another tally on the
record.
The issue on the electoral protest of
Marcos against Robredo has now zeroed in on the allowed shading threshold of
ballots, otherwise defined as the minimum acceptable amount of shade in the
circle for it to be considered a valid vote.

The VP said that 25% shading threshold (or
25% of the circle having been shaded) should be counted as a legitimate vote,
even adding that the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) had permitted this
before.
Marcos’s camp, however, argued that
Robredo’s claims are misleading.
