Mismong ang sariling kapatid ng isa sa mga miyembro ng ngayo’y Oposisyon ng gobyerno, na si dating Pangulo Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino po ang nagpakita ng suporta’t pagmamahal kay Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte kahit na siya pa’y nahaharap sa kaliwa’t kanang batikos at paghuhusga sa kanyang pagdedepensa sa kanyang mga magulang.

Minumura’t binabastos na ang aktres na si Kris Aquino dahil sa kanyang naging reaksyon sa isinapublikong bidyo ng kanyang sariling tatay na tumatanggap ng halik mula sa mga kababaihan ng eroplanong kanyang sinasakyan na kinumpara ni Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson sa halik na natanggap ng Pangulo mula sa isang pinay sa South Korea.

Ngunit lahat iyon ay hindi naging hadlang upang manghina ang aktres, pagkat naginhawaan ito dahil sa paghingi ni Duterte ng patawad sa pamamagitan ng mensaheng pinadala niya sa kanyang kanang-kamay, Special Assistant to the President Christopher Bong Go.

“Pero ito ang pananaw ko- the most powerful man, President Duterte affirmed my pain,” iginiit ni Kris.

“When all his supporters have called me the most hateful names- the man who doesn’t say SORRY- inutusan ang kanyang pinaka pinagkakatiwalaan na mag relay ng SINCERE apology sa kin,” dinagdag ni Kris.

Kahit na maselan sitwasyong pinagdadaanan ng aktres, hindi siya nawalan ng pag-asa pagkat ang paghingi ng patawad ng “most powerful man” sa pamamagitan ni Bong Go ay hindi malilimutang ala-ala ng kanyang buhay. Mula pa nga raw ito sa dalawang taong kanyang minamahal ng tunay.
