Inabisuhan ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang dating Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Simeon Aquino na dapat niyang pasalamatan si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte pagkat hindi niya pinilit na gawing isang “witch hunt” ang paghahanap sa may mga responsibilidad sa bakunang Dengvaxia.

Posible makulong si Aquino at mauwi sa kinahihinatnan ni Senadora Leila De Lima, na ngayo’y nakakulong dahil sa kasong sangkot ang droga.

Sabi ni Roque na hindi nagmamadali ang Pangulo sa pagaksyon sa kontrobersyal na programang inilunsad ni Aquino pagkat mas nanaisin nitong antayin na lumabas ang resulta ng pagsasaliksik ng mga dayuhang eksperto patungkol sa koneksyon ng Dengvaxia sa mga bata.

“So I think the President—the former President should give credit to President Duterte because he could have made this into a political witch-hunt and he did not,” sabi ni Roque.

Si Aquino naman na tila guilty ay nagsabing,    

    

“Hindi natin maiwasang mag-isip ng ganun. The only (thing) we have is the truth and with the help of God, we will overcome these challenges.”

Ang insidenteng nangyari ay nasa kamay ng taong tulad ni Noynoy Aquino na sinasabing diumano ay isa sa may responsibilidad sa insidente ngunit ito’y humihingi ng tulong ng Diyos? ayon sa kanyang sinasabi.
