Sa harap ng kontrobersya ng isyu ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte at ng babaeng kanyang hinalikan sa entablado sa South Korea, kaliwa’t kanang kritisismo’t alegasyon ang kanyang naharap. Ang iba’y nagsasabing tila pinilit ng Pangulo ang babaeng halikan ito ngunit ito’y nilampaso ng isang salaysay ng mula sa babae mismo.

Ngunit hindi parin ito sapat upang tuluyang lampasuhin ang mga kritiko ng Pangulo na ginagamit ang isyu upang siraan siya.

Dahil rito nagawa ni Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson na ikumpara ang itong pangyayari sa dating Senador Benigno “Ninoy” Simeon Aquino Jr. Ngunit imbis na mapakalma ang isyu’y ito’y mas lumaki pa’t naging dulot upang depensahan ng anak ni Ninoy, Kris Aquino ang kanyang tatay.

Ang problema lang rito’y lumobo pa ang simpleng isyu na ito. Kaliwa’t kanang kritisismo naman ang nakuha ni Asec. Mocha Uson at nauwi ito sa away.

Hindi na natiis ng mga netizens ng Facebook na mapasama sa drama ng isyu. Ano nga ba naman ang kinagigiliwan ng mga Pinoy, ‘di ba?

Ngunit may mga netizens tulad ng mga nasa likod ng Facebook page na Thinking Minds na hindi na kinaya ang walang saysay na drama ng isyu mula sa mga tagasuporta ng Liberal Party at tagasuporta ng Pangulo.

Sa pamamagitan ng isang Facebook post ng Thinking Minds kanilang isinaad na tila hypokrito ang mga Dilawan at Simbahan sa isyu ng moralidad, lalo na si Kris pagkat marami rin itong nakasamang lalaki noon. 

Ipinayo ng Thinking Minds na dapat nagpaka-Imee Marcos nalang si Kris pagkat sa harap ng kritisismo’y siya’y kalmado’t hindi na pinapalala ang isyu sa pagdagdag ng ng drama rito.

Bukod roon, isinaad rin ng Facebook page na,

                “Imee has shown quiet dignity while Kris is behaving like an immature brat.”

Makikita ang isinaad ng Thinking Minds sa kanilang post sa ilalim,

                “I AM NOT proMARCOS, I AM JUST CALLING A SPADE A SPADE. Dignity and self-respect seem to be lacking here. The Yellows are quick to attack Mocha's behavior and even demeaning her because of what she did in the past. While the yellows are quick to moralize when it comes to Mocha, they are verrrrrryyy slow in condemning Leila De Lima and even Kris who had multiple partners already. Let me emphasize that I do not find anything wrong with a woman having multiple partners in their lifetime, women have the right to be happy. I bring this up because of the hypocrisy of the church and the Yellows in relation to morality.”

 “Kris has the right to defend her parents, but people have the right to criticize her parents too. Jim Paredes & Cynthia Patag etc. have been attacking the parents of Imee, so why can’t Mocha do what Paredes & Patag have done? The difference between Imee & Kris is that Imee accepts the criticism without drama & without threatening the critics of her parents. Imee has shown quiet dignity while Kris is behaving like an immature brat.”
