We normally see men drive for us everyday, whether it is private cars, transportation cars, buses, tricycle and jeepneys. And we also know that they know every road and can be trusted to reach on our destination.

Jeepney sometimes called simply jeeps (Filipino: dyip), are the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They are known for their crowded seating and kitsch decorations, which have become a ubiquitous symbol of Philippine culture and art.

The Philippines Jeepney is probably called the King on the Road for no reason, Jeepneys are everywhere right? From Major roads to event sometimes on popular avenues. people ride and go for a Jeep everyday, its cheap and fun to ride a jeepney mostly the "patok jeepneys"

But on this case, some instances were encountered on the road, aside being the King of the Road because men usually the drivers of these transportation public vehicle, there's another kind of thing in the road was encountered.

On a twitter shared by @Illescas_Rc, He rode a jeepney going from UST - Nationa Museum but then to his surprise it was a WOMAN who was the Driver of the Jeepney he's riding.

He was really in shocked and amazed because again, usually we only see MEN who drive this thing, but it was awesome and proud to say that women can also do it!

On his twitter post he shared.

The guy who shared the photo was surely amazed and proud on what this WOMEN can do. But some people might not considered WOMEN to drive on the road especially Jeepney.

The guy also shared on his tweet that another passenger tried to make a voice and said that women were not allowed to drive a Jeep.

BIGLA, Lalaking Pasahero Nagparinig:

“Naku babae yung driver nakakatakot drive to, di legal sa babae magdrive ah”

The guy was not happy on the other passenger said, But he shared also that it feels good to say "Nay, Para Po" when  you want to drop off the jeepney.

Since it's International Women's Day, the guy tweeted again and said.

#internationalwomensday2018 should be 365 days a year;  normalization of disrepect (ie. rape jokes, cat-calling, etc.) towards women should not be tolerated in any way.

May nagsasabi pa niyan..
