Huling-huli sa kuha ng CCTV ang pagnanakaw ni Department of Labor and Employment Undersecretary Jing Paras sa telepono ni Representative Tom Villarin sa mismong House of Representatives itong March 20.

Kinasuhan ng theft ang nasabing undersecretary sa Quezon City Prosecutors Office pagkat konkretong ebidensya ang kuha ng CCTV na ito.

Ayon sa kwento ni Villarin, nagkita ang dalawa pagtapos ng isang hearing. Hindi niya raw kilala si Paras ngunit siya’y nilapitan nito’t sinabi na magkaalyado daw si Villarin at Senadora Risa Hontiveros sa Akbayan partylist.

“Kayo pala ni Hontiveros ang magkasama.”

Naramdaman ni Villarin ang malisyosong intensyon ni Paras ngunit labag sa kaalaman niya’y ito pala ang balak!

Maaaring naghudyat ang pagkakadawit ni Villarin sa galit ni Paras kay Hontiveros pagkat noong si Paras pala’y miyembro ng Volunteers against Crime and Corruption (VACC) at dating kongresista ng Negro Oriental. Kinasuhan niya pala si Hontiveros ng obstruction of justice, kidnapping and abuse and exploitation of minors pagkat hinihinalaan niyang tinatago ng senadora ang mga kabataang witness sa pagkakamatay ng 17-anyos batang si Kian Delos Santos.

Ayon naman sa theft complaint, kinausap daw ni Paras si Villarin at kanyang pinatong ang telepono sa ibabaw ng iPhoneX ni Villarin na parehong nasa ibabaw ng lamesa.

Nakalathala sa complaint ang susunod na,           

"Afterwards, the Respondent (Paras) picked up both cellular phones from the table and left the De Venecia Hall. He then proceeded to Zulueta Hall on the second floor of the same building.”

Hindi makakatakas rito ang si Paras pagkat kuhang-kuha ng CCTV ng House of Representatives ang parehong pagkuha at pag-iwan ng telepono ng kongresista sa ibang kwarto. At ito ang naging hudyat upang tuluyang kasuhan ni Villarin si Paras.
